My Own Learning Leap both a plush toy and an interactive toy. One of the most unique features of this toy is the personalization aspect. Parents can personalize the toy to the child's specific knowledge level such as knowledge of colors and letters. Parents can also personalize messages, pet type, pet name and many other parameters and record these custom fields in their own voice. My Own Learning Leap also has a cartridge slot for diverse gameplay.
Base2 was part of a larger software development team and implemented a couple of general-purpose game modules. These modules could then be reused and customized by cartridge developers. Base2 also provided training and support for cartridge developers in the usage of these game modules.
